I appreciate your replies/help - so far I've not had any success - still a corrupted Laptop with no access to any Security links with Defender so im assuming no antivirus or malware protection whatsoever ? despite multiple attempts to do a restore each attempt that can take up to an hour or longer ends up with Windows flashing up an Oooops We ran into a problen and fai led to restore ? so i cant reinstall Windows 11 or 10 even using the Recovery options ? Could it be a Virus or malware within that latest Windows Update ? the other oddity or maybe betwixt recovery attempts I noticed Windows downloaded 2 seperate Linux Files - is that normal for windows 11 as ive no knowledge of what Linux does or what its association is with Windows 11 Im almost ready to Burn this dam computer in the dustbin as the stress is getting too much to cope with i currently cannot find a route to even take the computer back to factory settings it just keeps crashing on those attempts for a clean restore of Windows 10 - im guessing my lack of understanding much modern I.T.Microsoft Defender is a Windows built-in anti-malware tool.
